研究方向 Research interests
面臨壓力的衝擊時,神經系統與內分泌系統會活化或抑制以改變身體各組織器官的活性,因應壓力的影響。當我們對壓力的反應失常,身體各器官的運作便逐漸發生變異,引發社會常見的文明病,包括:高血壓、糖尿病、自體免疫疾病、不孕、精神官能症等,因此了解身體對壓力的反應機制,或許可讓我們對壓力相關的疾病發展新的治療策略與預防方法。我們針對下列幾個身體產生壓力反應的特性進行探討:
Stress suffering can alter the central autonomic system (CAS) in the brain and activate responses by peripheral autonomic nervous and endocrine systems. Chronic stress, however, is one of the risk factors of hypertension, DM, autoimmune diseases, infertility, drug abuse and psychic disorders. So, we are interested on unfolding the black box to provide mroe reliable resolutions for these issues
